ARMITAGE ROAD

Appointed to design and detail a unique piece of architecture in Thorpe Bay, this tiny house is situated on a plot no larger than a single garage. The building is constructed from a steel and timber frame, clad in zinc.

It has a first floor open plan living space which leads out onto a small balcony, with the ground floor providing accommodation to a double bedroom, shower room and utility.

This project created technical challenges for BGA Architects to overcome which enabled them to consider alternative and interesting techniques to ensure the scheme could be realised.
