ARCHITECTURAL ASSISTANTS AND TECHNOLOGISTS VACANCY

​

A vibrant young Architectural firm are seeking a qualified or undertaking a RIBA Part 1 or accredited CIAT Architectural Technology Degree to join their growing firm that work heavily in the Residential, Commercial, Education and Retail sectors.

​

Joining an established friendly firm this role will give you the chance to be an involved member of the team with great ownership of your work alongside support from the team.

​

Offering a flexible home working policy. The company have decided to implement a hybrid policy with days in the office and home, however the office is always open to work from during the week.

The right individual will ideally have the following skills and experience:

 

You will work throughout all RIBA work stages of projects.

 

You will be able to produce high quality technical drawing packages and construction detailing and will be expected to apply your technical skills to a number of other complex and bespoke projects.

​

Responsibilities will be:

​​

  •  Preparing planning drawings for statutory approvals

  •  Preparing and presenting technical 2D/3D design solutions using Revit LT.

  •  Undertake technical research into products and building materials

  •  Visit sites to carryout measured surveys

  •  Assist with the detailed design process and preparation of tender documentation

 

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

 

  • Good knowledge of UK planning and building regulations required

  • Working towards or fully qualified as a RIBA Part I  or accredited CIAT Architectural Technology Degree

  • Confident working in technical design and construction stages

  • A good eye for detail and think 3 dimensionally

  • Competent using Revit

  • Able to work using your own initiative

  • Have great communication and presentation skills, with a high standard of written and spoken English

  • Must have a full UK driving License

Salary commensurate with experience
